Upward Spiral Of Success

It’s the Economy Stupid! That’s been the underlying presidential campaign slogan for decades now. It reflects the seemingly most important thing in the average person’s life as regards presidential politics in America.

It’s not hard to imagine the reason for this sentiment. If you don’t have the money to buy things you need in life – food, housing, clothes for yourself and your family – not much else can command your attention.Upward Spiral Of Success-PaulStober.com

Now it really doesn’t matter which candidate you support. If you’re waiting for a president – or anyone else for that matter – to come along who will improve YOUR life for you, you’ll be waiting a long time.

That’s not to say other people don’t matter or can’t help you. But if you want to change your life from where you are right now, you have the most power to accomplish that goal – more than anyone else, including the President of the United States!

Perhaps you have a job that doesn’t meet your goals. Perhaps you don’t even have a job right now. But what matters most is that even in the midst of your struggles, you possess – right now – the ability to change your life for the better.

That change starts with defining a central purpose for your life. Defining a central purpose gives you clarity in life. Clarity helps you cut down the sheer number of choices you need to make each day. Clarity helps you focus your actions on those things that will move you toward your goals.

When you have a clear purpose that leads to clarity of choice, you can be confident in the actions you take each day. Many people without a clear purpose and as result lack clarity don’t have confidence in themselves or the choices they make. They then become paralyzed, fearing making the wrong choice and end up not taking any action.

But confident action gets you into the game. Effort added to action lead to results. And even though every result may not be favorable, results allow you to make a clear choice – whether to repeat actions that led to favorable results or to make changes in your action plans.

Results – favorable of unfavorable – lead to even more clarity which leads to even more focus and more action. It’s an Upward Spiral Of Success!

Thomas Edison, America’s most successful inventor said that success is 1% inspiration (clear purpose) and 99% perspiration (ACTION). He failed over 1000 times working on developing the electric light bulb before he finally succeeded. That’s clarity of purpose followed up with focused action and results.

Among all the family and social purposes that are important to you, earning enough money to provide for yourself and your family should be high on the list. You can start today right where you are by defining a clear purpose of making the money your need and deserve.
